PhD-student: Nicoline Lokdam Nicoline sitt PhD prosjekt er basert på data fra NorMA-studien , kombinert med data fra fengsels- og helseregister. Målet med prosjektet er å undersøke behov, behandling og livet etter soning for personer med ruslidelser i Norske fengsel. Prosjektet har arbeidstittel: «Substance Use Disorders in the Norwegian prison population – Needs, treatment and post-release outcomes.» I den følgende 5-minutter lange videoen kan du se og høre Nicoline forklare arbeidet sitt (på engelsk).

< Back Ruslidelser Omtrent halvparten av alle innsatte har en ruslidelse når de kommer til fengsel, og etter løslatelse er risikoen for overdosedød og tilbakefall til rusbruk svært høy. På grunn av dette er det viktig å oppdage ruslidelser ved ankomst til fengslet og tilby adekvat behandling for ruslidelser under soning, noe som vil føre til bedre helse for personer med ruslidelser i fengsel. PriSUD prosjektet har som målsetting å undersøke forekomsten av ruslidelser blant innsatte i norske, svenske og danske fengsel. Vi skal også undersøke tilgangen til adekvat rusbehandling i fengsel, samt utfall av slik behandling etter løslatelse i en nordisk kontekst. Sammen med en rekke samarbeidspartnere jobber vi med en rekke delprosjekter med fokus på alkoholbruk og rusmiddelbruk før soning, screening, rusmiddelbruk under soning og ulike utfall etter soning.
